"Do-It-Your-Soil" is intended for students with a basic training in earth science, including initial exposure to soil profiles in the field.

Students are taught to put this knowledge to practical use for solving applied problems regarding sustainable soil management and protection.

There are six modules, including soil erosion, soil and water supply, conservation of organic matter, etc. "Do-It-Your-Soil" relies heavily on interactive animations. The course material, instruction and feedback required to perform the tasks are available on the Internet. The project aims to combine the advantages of the Internet with other teaching platforms.
