Education cannot be reduced to the mere transmission of concepts and information. "eBioMED.ch" aims primarily to introduce problem-oriented learning on a broad scale in life science education.

This online course offers a full range of scientific subjects concerning neurophysiology, cellular biology, and pre-clinical immunology, as well as complete modules on sleep and pain pathophysiology.

Modules include animations, simulations, and self-assessment programmes, as well as a range of simple aids allowing instructors to prepare questions and student assessment programmes. The latter element also enables teachers to focus their seminars on areas where student knowledge is insufficient or incomplete.
