Rapidly changing conditions in the information and communication sectors have prompted various technical colleges, universities, and private firms to form an educational partnership. The eduswiss project is organized along the lines of a virtual company.
Around 30 partners contribute their expertise to this modular training programme. Every year, between 140 and 170 engineers and project managers from all over Switzerland take courses in information technology, software development, information systems, automation, telecommunications and multimedia.
With course providers in different locations and a student body made up of working professionals, this is an ideal environment for e-learning.The idea is to use the experience gained from earlier pilot courses in the eduswiss online project for the benefit of other courses.
