Pharmacology is an interdisciplinary science with applications in medicine and pharmacy.

For some years now, students, doctors and pharmacists have been complaining that the teaching of pharmacology is too remote from clinical practice. The e-course "Basic and Clinical Pharmacology" sets out to remedy this state of affairs. Available in English, French and German, it is aimed at all students of medicine and pharmacy in Switzerland.

The course is closely linked to two other Swiss Virtual Campus offerings ("e-BioMed" and "Basic Course in Medicine and Pharmacology"), the idea being that future doctors and pharmacists must get used to receiving lifelong web-based training and continuous education.
